Opening Times

* The reserve is open at all times to pedestrians.

The visitor centre, car park and lakeside viewpoint are open 10am–5pm April-September and 10am-4pm October-March, Tuesday to Sunday. Please note, the lakeside viewpoint is managed by volunteers and opening times are subject to the availability of volunteers.

Primary schools can book for an inspiring learning experience and tick some of those important curriculum targets. With carefully designed programmes will help primary school pupils develop a range of skills and learn how to identify mini-beasts, habitats and so much more.
